Role Overview


Opexor is looking for an experienced DevSecOps Architect to lead the architecture and technical design of an enterprise DevOps and DevSecOps implementation for a regulated financial services environment.

The role will define the end-to-end DevSecOps architecture across Azure DevOps Services, repositories, CI/CD pipelines, security gates, artifact management, approval workflows, hybrid deployment zones, SIEM, ITSM, vulnerability management, and compliance evidence. The architect will ensure the solution is secure, auditable, scalable, and aligned with banking-grade governance expectations.

Role Overview


 Opexor is looking for an experienced Release Management Specialist to own and coordinate the end-to-end software release lifecycle across multiple environments, ensuring controlled, traceable, and auditable deployments. 

The role acts as the governance gatekeeper between development, QA, infrastructure, security, and business teams while ensuring compliance with ITIL, SDLC, and organizational release management standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Plan, schedule, and maintain the consolidated release calendar across Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
  • Coordinate release planning, manage dependencies, conflicts, freeze windows, and bundled releases.
  • Define and enforce release entry and exit criteria, including go/no-go decision gates.
  • Prepare release plans, deployment runbooks, rollback plans, and release documentation.
  • Raise, document, and track Requests for Change (RFCs) and ensure releases are linked to approved change records.
  • Prepare CAB materials, present releases for approval, and document CAB decisions and conditions.
  • Ensure segregation of duties between development, approval, and deployment activities.
  • Manage standard, normal, emergency, and hotfix release processes.
  • Coordinate deployment execution and validate successful implementation against acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs), capture lessons learned, and drive corrective actions.
  • Maintain release documentation, approvals, test sign-offs, and deployment evidence for audit purposes.
  • Monitor and report release KPIs, including deployment frequency, change failure rate, lead time, MTTR, and on-time release performance.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation of manual release activities using CI/CD and deployment tools.




Required Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Release Management, Change Management, or IT Service Delivery (Specialist level).
  • 6–8+ years of experience, including release governance ownership in a regulated environment (Senior Specialist level).
  • Hands-on experience with Jira (Datacenter/Cloud) and Confluence for release and change tracking.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
  • Prior experience in banking, fintech, or another SAMA-regulated environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAMA regulations, particularly the IT Governance Framework (ITGF) change and release controls.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to make risk-based decisions under deadline pressure.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and audit evidence management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic and English preferred).


Required Certifications


  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification (required or to be obtained) for Specialist level.
  • ITIL v4 Managing Professional certification or a Release/Deployment-focused certification (preferred) for Senior Specialist level.
